2021 WORLD DAY AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Ghana will join the rest of the world to commemorate the World Day Against Human Trafficking on 30th July, 2021.

It will be celebrated under the theme: “Human Trafficking can end, the time is now! Take action to stop all forms of exploitation”.

The Human Trafficking Day-(Blue Day) is commemorated to raise awareness on the dangers associated with human trafficking, worst forms of child labour and all forms of exploitation.

It is also to show compassion towards victims of human trafficking and all those exploited in various forms.

The Blue Heart represents the sadness of those who are trafficked, while reminding us of the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell fellow human beings.

The Day will be commemorated in Mepe, Volta Region.
