WESTERN REGIONAL COMMANDER VISITS ELUBO BORDER POST

The Western Regional Commander, PNCO Isaac Badu on Thursday, October 24, 2024, paid a working visit to the Elubo Border Post. The visit aimed to ascertain some operational challenges as well as make swift interventions to enable an effective working environment for the officers of the Commission.

The Sector Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service at the Elubo Border, DCO 1 Joshua Kraku, applauded the NACOC team of Elubo for their strategic and timely intervention in the interception of Ivorian Military personnel who were aided in a smooth exchange of Intercity STC Coaches Limited (STC) bus between the two countries. PNCO Isaac Badu in his remarks encouraged officers to work in harmony and cooperate to enhance the efficiency of all operational activities.

He added that the introduction of NACOC’s uniform was not meant to compete with other uniformed agencies, but to complement the smooth operations in the interest of Ghana. The Regional commander also visited some unapproved routes in the Elubo community, as a part of a strategy to mitigate and reduce the use of these routes.
