Tarkwa United FC honors courtesy call from MCE of Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah
WRFA Division 2 Middle participants, Tarkwa United honored a courtesy from the MCE of Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon Ebenezer Cobbinah as part of their preparation for the 2024/2025 WRFA Division 2 Middle League.
This also forms part of the Hon Cobbinah’s policies of developing football in his district in his term as the MCE of Tarkwa-Nsuaem.
Tarkwa United after their visit wrote on their official social media handle stating
“We had the privilege to honor a courtesy call from the Municipal Chief Executive, MCE of Tarkwa Nsuaem, Hon. Ebenezer Cobbinah at his office.
He congratulated the team for being able top the Group C in the Zone 2 to qualify the team to the WRFA SUPER MIDDLE LEAGUE 204/2025 Season which will be hosted at the T&A Stadium here in Tarkwa after a long Period of time. He also took the opportunity to encourage and advise the team to peak the flag of Tarkwa very high in the Middle league and never forget they are the hope of the Municipality. He promised his support for the team as a football loving person and indicated he will be present at all Match days of the team if only he is not occupied beyond his control.
The captain of the Team, Yaw Ofori on behalf of the entire team also assured the MCE of the total commitment to the course of keeping the flag of Tarkwa high in this league and qualifying the team to 2025/2026 Access Bank Division One league next Season.”
